Annual MBAA International Conference
A collegial organization welcoming academics and practitioners interested in applying scholarly research to today's business challenges
Each year since 1978, the MBAA International has returned to
Chicago for its annual meeting. The March meeting typically
includes around 800 participants, representing approximately
all 50 states and dozens of foreign countries. Participants come from a
variety of institutions, large and small, public and private, to attend the
three day conference.
All papers submitted for consideration at the conference are double blind
refereed. A Distinguished Paper Award is presented to one meritorious
paper in each of the twelve disciplines each year.
Since its first meeting in 1965, the MBAA International has acted as a
coordinating body for autonomous groups in a variety of business-related
academic areas. Eleven formal tracks with over 800 active members make up
the MBAA International. These organizations represent a variety of disciplines,
including accounting, economics, finance, health administration, information systems,
bussiness society and government, international business, legal studies, management, marketing,
operations management and entrepreneurship, and case studies.
