Annual MBAA International Conference
A collegial organization welcoming academics and practitioners interested in applying scholarly research to today's business challenges
Each year since 1978, the MBAA International has returned to
Chicago for its annual meeting. The March meeting typically
includes around 700 participants, representing approximately
40 states and a number of foreign countries. Participants come from a
variety of institutions, large and small, public and private, to attend the
three day conference.
The next conference will be held Wednesday, March 24th - 26th 2010 in
Chicago.
All papers submitted for consideration at the conference are double blind
refereed. A Distinguished Paper Award is presented to one meritorious
paper in each of the twelve disciplines each year.
Since its first meeting in 1965, the MBAA International has acted as a
coordinating body for autonomous groups in a variety of business-related
academic areas. Today, there are over 700 members, in eleven divisions:
accounting; case research; economics; finance, real estate, insurance and
risk management; health administration; human resources and industrial
relations; information systems and quantitative methods; international
business; legal studies; management; marketing; and operations management
and entrepreneurship.
